Relationship between Prince William of Wales and his godparents

HRH Prince William of Wales was born at St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London on 21 June 1982. He was christened at Buckingham Palace on 4 August 1982, the eighty-second birthday of his great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. The Prince and Princess of Wales chose four names for their infant son: William Arthur Philip Louis. The little prince had six godparents:

• Constantine II, King of the Hellenes
• HRH Princess Alexandra of Great Britain (wife of Honourable Sir Angus Ogilvy)
• Norton Knatchbull, styled by courtesy Baron Romsey
• Natalia Phillips (wife of His Grace the Duke of Westminster)
• Lady Susan Waldegrave (wife of James Hussey)
• Laurens van der Post
